Gardening Proverbs and a Favorite Mail Order Gardening Catalog
When it comes to gardening, nature has found a way to implore our souls with the essential nutrients found while exploring its elements.
The soil, the plant, the flower, and the warmth of the sun all invite the body to move into balance while we are gardening. We relieve stress; we ground our energy, and invite nature to heal our weariness. There is nothing like a day in the garden to put your attitude back on track when life has placed a challenge before you. Perhaps, this is why there are so many thought-provoking garden proverbs illustrating the miraculous effects of the garden.
One of my favorite things to do is create outdoor art for my yard. Little displays of thoughtful proverbs provide another type of visual reward. I place them among the flowers and plants so while strolling along the gardens edges thought provoking message provide a threat for those who really open their eyes to see. Here are a few of my favorite garden proverbs:
