Please help, I'm 28 years old, I'm 5'7" with a large bone structure and I weigh 205lb. Yes, I am medically big boned. I have the shoulders of a man. I'm very curvy. Anyway, I never eat fried foods, or drink sugary drinks, and my job is fairly active. Yet, for some reason I am having a very hard time going from size 14 to at least a size 12. As odd as it sounds, I've been told I look thin as a 12, just another reminder I am not a blob of fat. I look fairly muscular, but I know there is too much weight somewhere on my body. It's just not coming off. What should I do? Once again, I'll state I stay far away from "Junk Food," because I know I'd be even bigger if I did eat it.

I have tried everything in the book and I am not getting results. I tried the gym and walking around the block, watching what I eat, but it does not seem to work. I have a really bad sweet tooth and crave desserts and chocolate. What are some healthy alternatives I can use to calm those craving, thanks.

Hello. I weigh 63 kilograms and am 165 centimeters. I have a very unbalanced body and the thing that I hate are my muffin tops. I am an athletic person. Sports are my favorite thing, and I have a fitness coach who helped me to loose weight, but my muffin tops and belly aren't going especially my muffin tops. They are the only thing. They show when I wear my tight sweaters. I've tried everything and it didn't work, so I was wondering if there is a special diet. Someone told me that they are caused by my very low waist jeans, and I was wondering if that would caused them? I want to loose weight fast around 6 kilos in 3 weeks. I have an occasion coming up and want to look great in my new dress, thanks.

Well I am a fat fifteen year old boy and I am lazy. I weigh 245 lb and want to be skinny, but I need some mental help. I can't run or anything. I just sit down. The most exercise I get is playing my drums, not much. So if there is a way to loose weight fast easy and cheap please help.

Hi Gabriella, you may want to consider taking the sugar out of your food plan. If you read the labels and cut way back on the sugars you will be surprised at how much weight comes off in a week. You would of course need to try and get some exercise.

Hello, I am 25, 5'7 and 145 lbs. I am very unhappy about my body image. The summer is here and I can't loose that last 10 lbs. I work full time, and I am in school. I live alone, so I am busy. My job requires me to walk more than 10,000 steps a day, besides I don't have time to do exercise program either at a gym or at home. Unfortunately, I watch what I eat, but I still can not loose. Dr. Leia please tell me how can I loose those pounds in 2 weeks without any pills, healthy.

Okay, so like a lot of the other people here, I am a young teen, and I weigh about one hundred and fifty pounds, and I know I am not fat, but then I look at all the super skinny people at my school, and actors, and models, and obviously that doesn't make me feel great. Yeah, then I feel fat. So, I want to weigh about one hundred twenty five or one hundred thirty. How can I do that easily?

I'm 15 years old, and weigh around 250 lbs. I'm 5ft 10" or 11, I'm not sure. But I've tried a lot of weight loss programs. I've gone to the gym and all, but I can't seem to loose more than like 10 lbs in all. I'm hungry all the time and when I'm not the next day I'm even hungrier. I've tried the drinking of 8 glasses of water, and the salads and everything, but I don't notice any changes. What should I do?

Hi Ruth, have you mentioned this problem to your doctor recently? It may be a good idea to see a doctor to rule out any health problems.

Hi, I'm 19 and 5ft 5" and 135-140 pounds. I know this isn't unhealthy but with a BMI of 23 I'd like to be in better shape for my age. I eat healthy and do exercise often, but I can't seem to exercise (mostly jog) for more than 20 minutes without feeling faint. I have no medical problems and I don't smoke, could it be my diet? Is there any way to help my stamina?

Hey I'm Lauren. I'm 13 and about 5'1 or 5'2. I weigh between 120-130. I want to loose between 10-30 pounds. I only eat 2-3 times, lunch, snack, dinner because I am out of the house early for school. Is there anything I can do? I participate in gym and do all sports, walk a lot, and ride bike. I rarely drink water or anything. I drink orange juice or milk.

Hi Shaye,

Foods don't really flatten your belly. However, you might try Whole Wellness Tea, as it helps you release built up matter in your digestive track which in turn flattens your tummy. Sometimes a bloated tummy tells us we need to detox. You can learn about this tea by clicking here > Whole Wellness Holy Tea

I'm 15 years old. I've always been on the chubby side.
But recently I've gain some weight.
My stomach is so digesting. I'm so discouraged.
I can't stand to look at myself in the mirror because none of my clothes fit me anymore.

Hi Queverli, I know the workouts seem hard right now but they will get easier in time if you stick with it and keep working toward your goal. What other people think is not what is important. You are trying to become healthy not skinny.

Hello, I just turned 15 years old and I weigh 203 pounds. I'm not very tall. I only stand at 5'2 . I hate being fat. I have tried and diets don't seem to be working on me. I'm in a class called Mcjrotc, and I hate running. I'm always last and start breathing too hard and get tired very quickly. My teacher tries to push us hard, but I think he's being too tough on us. I'm a size 16 almost 19. A 16 doesn't fit any more. My mom makes me more frustrated. She's always calling me fat and stuff. Kids always make fun of me and it really hurts. I would like to weigh at least 145 pounds and be a normal person and wear a size 9 pants like I used to. Can you please help me out. I would really be glad and thankful.

Hi Tricia, I would start to read the labels on the foods that I eat to check the sugar content and also read up on how simple and complex carbohydrates are broken down by the body. Once you learn more about these things it will be easier to figure out what foods have the best food value.

Hello, I am 27 years old and I have been over weight all my life. I just had a baby five months ago, and I am trying to lose weight and get healthy. I'm 5"6 and I am currently 260 lbs. I try to eat right, and I workout everyday, but I can't seem to lose any weight. Do you have any suggestions?

I am 14 yrs. old, and everyone tells me that I'm not fat. But I feel like I am. I am 4'10" and I weigh 103 pounds. Is this the weight I should be, or should I weight less? If I should weight less, how can I loose some weight?

Dear Hunter,

It is possible that depression can contribute to weight gain because you might reach for food as a comfort, for security, or to feel good. If you are feeling sad and depressed and your grades in school are going down, and you are unable to concentrate or are preoccupied with your emotions of sadness, anger, day-dreaming, spaciness, preoccupation, or irritable all the time, you might want to seek out some help from your school adviser or an adult teacher whom you respect. Sometimes, talking about your emotions that make you feel bad is a good thing and will eventually help you to understand how your emotions play an important role in the way you feel about your body, your personality, and your life in general. Please don't compare yourself to your sister or anyone else, because you are an individual and are not supposed to be a carbon copy of anyone else. And please don't blame yourself for feeling funky. We all have times in our life when we have unwanted feelings and emotions. The secret is to learn more about why we are feeling these emotions, and talking with a counselor or someone wise will help to give us insight into our problems. Good luck with finding someone with whom to confide your feelings.

Hi, my name is Hunter. I'm a 12 year old girl and I'm disgusted with the way I look. I've tried many different diets to get into shape, but they have all failed. I weigh around 117 pounds and I'm 5'1. I want to get down to around 90 pounds that way my sisters and other people will stop making fun of me. I don't Know what I'm doing wrong. I mean I eat healthy and every once in a while I'll have a coke. I don't know what happened to me. I used to be as skinny as a twig until my parents got a divorce and thats when I started gaining weight. Can you tell me if it's depression that is making me get fatter and fatter. If it is depression, how do I stop the depression? Please help me it would be a big help.

Hi Anna, I would not be overly worried. You have some growing to do over the summer. Cut back on soda, chips, sugar etc. and snack on cherry tomatoes, carrots, snow peas etc., instead. Try to drink things like iced tea with Stevia as a sweetener. Also try to get outside and be as active as possible. And remember, for every inch you grow you will gain more in weight.
