I have been an advocate for exercise on a trampoline for a long time. It doesn't take any effort hardly and it is fun as well. Why don't more people try it as a method of exercise?

Would a rebounder be helpful and not be harmful for my sons, age 35 and 37, and myself, age 65?

Kurt has right Hemiparesis from a head injury when he was a small child. Last year he had a partial knee replacement, and he just had a hip replacement. He also has a weak immune system.

Brent has suffered whiplash three times, and as a result of the last accident he must take narcotic pain medications. He also has fibromyalgia and he has difficulty sleeping.

My health is pretty good except for having fibromyalgia, but my balance is not good due to a head injury at the same time as Kurt, 30 years ago, and I have had both knees replaced nearly five years ago.

The orthopedic doctor Kurt and I have is opposed to the idea of a rebounder, but I am thinking gentle exercise using a safety bar, not high jumps, would be helpful.

Can you please give me information on any people with similar conditions who have benefited from using a rebounder? Thank you. Sylvia Hooper

Thank you for your commonsense information about the kinds of moderate exercises that are good for gaining fitness. I'm especially interested in trying out the Rebounder trampoline, it might be just the thing I need. Thanks for your help.

I have advanced arthritis of the hip and I am 57. I will be getting a hip replacement in five months. The pain is there but quite bearable with painkillers. I still walk 40' to an hour each day. I live in Paris, but miss more active moving and shaking such as hiking in the Alps and dancing. Could the Rebounder Trampoline work do me good rather than harm, or should I wait until after surgery and recovery? Thanks for your answer.

Thank you for this blog. This is the second time I've read about the mini-trampoline as a way for good exercise. I was surprised to hear that people used it. I hadn't been on one since I was a kid. Well, a friend of mine has one, and I recently tried it and loved it! I felt really energized after using it. I first read about the mini-trampoline in a book that focuses on healthy living called > It Can Be Done!. The author also uses a Rebound brand. Now, I am inspired to get one for myself - thank you!
