Right after I turned forty-nine this year, I started experiencing most of the menopause symptoms listed. My current issue is prolonged bleeding which is followed by two pain-free cycles where I had over a two month lull in between each one which was so nice. After extensive and ongoing research, I understand that prolonged and continuous bleeding is typical for those who experience very painful cycles, of which I have experienced for the last five years until recently. Anyway, June 26th was my last cycle and has gone on and on until now which is nearing a month. Most of this period has been a very light flow, sometimes lighter than other days, and about three times I had a heavier flow for maybe a few hours at the most. All this is extremely unusual for me. Most of the time I feel great, light on my feet and joyfully energized. I am a healthy and active individual, but I do enjoy taking time to relax and pamper myself every week. I exercise, jog, walk, and do arobics about five to six times each week. I eat healthy about 98% of the time especially since March which is when I learned my symptoms could be eliminated through my diet which is so true. I also take supplements such as a multivitamin, E, B, with extra Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, fish oil, and also a pro biotic. I am about to purchase natural progesterone cream which I hear will assist me with this annoying non-stop bleeding issue among other symptoms that come up such as palpitations, insomnia, etc. This is all to say that thanks to the internet and websites like yours, women can get 'instant relief' or comforting information about this otherwise very disturbing phase in a woman's life. Thanks for offering 'good news' for those who seek it.
