Hi I am twenty-seven. I weigh 75 kgs. I have a pretty good diet. I try to drink two liters of water a day. My problem is my skin. My joints and arms and legs are most affected. It's very dry and red and just seems to be getting worse. All I use at the moment is Aveeno moisturizer. I'm taking flax seed capsules. I m willing to try anything.

Hi Eamon, dry skin can not be healed with anything you put on the outside, it has to be addressed from within. But even before you do that, you should know if this dryness is an allergic reaction to anything you are currently using on your skin. I am sorry to have to say, but if you use a lot of commercial creams as their only purpose is to make sure that you buy another bottle or jar, so they only mask the problem, not cure it. If you can not find anything in your diet or any external reason, I would suggest that you check your blood oxygen level the next time you see your doctor, or you can buy a cheap blood oximeter.
